My Biography
Hello! I am honored to be one of the Instructional Coaches at Westview Middle School. This is my 3rd year as an Instructional Coach, my 30th year in education, my 16th year at Westview Middle School and my 25th year in the school district. Prior to Riverview Gardens, I was an elementary teacher in the St. Louis Public School District at Shenandoah Elementary. I have taught elementary and middle school students while also serving a dual role as a Library Media Specialist and Lead Librarian for the district while at both Lemasters Elementary and Westview Middle. I transitioned from a Library Media Specialist to a Read 180 Instructor and served as the Department Chair of ELA for 12 years while here at Westivew Middle. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Harris-Stowe University in Elementary Education; a Master's Degree from University of Missouri - St. Louis in Educational Administration; a Specialist's Degree from University of Missouri - St. Louis in Educational Administration and a Doctorate Degree from Maryville University in Educational Leadership. I am excited to work in a partnership with our educators as they empower students to actively construct their own knowledge and by doing so will lead them to success.
